new Delhi: On the completion of one year of Modi government's Ayushman Bharat Health Services Program, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Tuesday that 10 crore e-cards have been issued under Ayushman Bharat in the first year. He said that under the government's Rs 7,500 crore fund scheme, 45 lakh patients have got the benefit of being hospitalized.
Giving information about the Centre's programs in a media conference about the government's first year achievements, he said that there are 55 crore potential beneficiaries under the Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) under Ayushman Bharat.

More than 21,000 health and welfare centers have been set up, which will increase to more than 40,000 by the end of the current financial year.
The Health Minister said that under the awareness program, 7.7 crore letters signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been distributed to the beneficiaries.
