Panchkula. Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has spoken of implementing NRC in Haryana just like Assam. He said that Haryana government is working fast on family identity card. Its data will also be used in the National Citizenship Register. On the other hand, on this statement of Khattar, Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that whatever the Chief Minister has said, it is already in law. Foreigners will have to go out of the state. It is the responsibility of the government to recognize foreigners.
As part of the mass public relations campaign in the state, Khattar arrived at Panchkula on Sunday at the residence of Justice (retd) HS Bhalla, former chairman of the Haryana State Human Rights Commission. During this, he said, 'The formation of Law Commission in the state is also being considered. Justice HS Bhalla is going to Assam to study NRC data even after retirement. Their data will be useful for NRC to be established in the state. '
Voluntary department will also be formed
The Chief Minister said, “Social audit system will also be applicable in Haryana. Under this, the intellectuals of the society will be able to audit the development works. It will include retired people, teachers, engineers and experts. Talking about the mass public relations campaign, he said that its objective is to make people aware of the work done by the government during the last five years.
Manoj Tiwari demanded implementation of NRC in Delhi
The final list of NRC in Assam was released on 31 August. 19 lakh 6 thousand 657 people were out of the list. This includes those who did not submit any claim. 3 crore 11 lakh 21 thousand 4 people have been declared valid. After the release of the list of NRC in Assam, Delhi BJP chief and MP Manoj Tiwari demanded to implement NRC in the national capital as well. He had said that the situation in the capital is not good due to people living in Delhi illegally.
