MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) An annual tennis tournament that’s raised thousand for abused children wrapped up Saturday.
The ninth annual “Serve It Up with Love” tourney benefits the Mobile Child Advocacy Center.
So far, the event has brought in more than $78,000 for the CAC.
“We have a passion for helping our children and keeping them safe. Our funds are cut almost monthly, so we rely on our local fundraisers to keep our doors open,” said Elaine Henderson with the CAC. “This is a big event for us to fund our services.”
This event was once the United States Tennis Association’s charity event of the year.
