Part of the Toko Village hotel, on the north shore of Porto Seguro city, was destroyed by fire early Saturday afternoon.
Guests and staff have been removed from the venue. There is no information about injured people. The fire spread rapidly, as the cover of some rooms, such as the restaurant, was made of piassava, an easily combustible material.
A team from the 6th Military Firefighter Group managed to slow down the advance of the fire. The company has not yet informed the extent of the damage. An expert can point out the cause of the fire.
