Washington: In Kansas City in the American province of Kansas, two gunmen killed four people and injured five others in a bar in the early hours of Sunday. According to the news agency Effe, the police said that preliminary investigation shows that there was a quarrel at the bar after which the suspects returned and opened fire. Police are searching for suspects, whom they say both used handguns. Police have released photographs of both the persons and have sought the public's help in identifying them.
A bartender, Jose Valdez, told 'The Kansas City Star' that he had identified one of the gunmen because they had previously refused to serve him that evening because the man was believed to be the troublemaker in the bar. Valdage told the newspaper that the man threw a cup at him and went away and then came back in the evening with another man. Police received the incident late at 1.27 pm.
According to the spokesperson, four injured were found inside the bar, while five injured people escaped after being fired by gunmen. The spokesman said that the police investigation is on. All of the dead were Latino men, but police do not believe the crime was racially motivated. Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Affairs Marcello Eberard said on Twitter that two of the casualties were Mexicans.
