Due to technical fault, double amount started coming out
The case pertains to the Bank of India ATM located at Hasanpur Chowk in Saharanpur. According to the information, due to technical fault in the ATMA, the amount started doubling. The customer would pay half the amount of the amount withdrawn from the ATM by paying double the amount. The news of doubling the amount from the ATM spread towards the forest fire. People told their family members, relatives and everyone reached the ATM.
There was a stir in the bank
Gradually, 30 people withdrew double the amount of ATM and the money in the ATM ran out. Then the matter reached the bank manager, after which there was a stir in the bank as well. The bank manager immediately contacted the cash depositing company at the ATM. According to company official Harpreet Singh, 30 customers have withdrawn more than Rs 4 lakh 90 thousand from the ATM.
If not double the amount returned, action will be taken
The bank manager informed the police station Sadar Bazar police about the case. The security company has got the responsibility to recover more money. People who have withdrawn this much money have been appealed to return this amount more than themselves. The bank manager says that the bank has all the records. If customers do not return the amount received, then action will be taken against them.
