Ahmedabad. This time the victim of Gujarat's 108 ambulance service became a relative of the Chief Minister of the state Vijay Rupani. The family of Vijay Rupani's maternal brother called an ambulance via 108 but the ambulance arrived 45 minutes late due to which the demise of Vijay Rupani's cousin Anil Sanghvi died. Rupani's cousin Anil Sanghvi could not be rushed to the hospital on time due to the delay in reaching the ambulance, after which he died. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has ordered an inquiry into a case on Wednesday.

The matter came to light when Rupani went to pay tribute to his maternal uncle's son Anilbhai Sanghvi on Tuesday. Please tell that on October 4 this month, Anil Sanghvi, the cousin of the Chief Minister living near Saurashtra Kala Kendra Ishwariya, started having shortness of breath. His son Gaurang and family members called 108 Ambulance Service to seek help. The ambulance arrived 45 minutes late even after repeated calls. Anil Sanghvi died by the time he reached the hospital.

On receiving the information, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani reached Rajkot and consoled the family. Rupani was told that the ambulance arrived at the scene late due to operator's fault. After this accident, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani has ordered the Collector to investigate the delayed arrival of the ambulance. Rajkot Collector Ramya Mohan is now investigating the case.

Mohan said that the ambulance arrived late at the destination based on preliminary information as the system had an incorrect landmark feed. When 108 was called, but the landmark shown was the Modi school. Mohan says that the family tried to call the ambulance 2 times, but could not speak on his phone. They said that the ambulance had reached the wrong address as well. The ambulance reached the New Modi School Ishwariya village at the place of Modi School Ishwariya Road. Due to which he was delayed in reaching.

The Rajkot collector also clarified that the ambulance was dispatched within 6 minutes of receiving the call. But due to incorrect address, his family was called from the ambulance to the landline number 13 times. But the phone did not work. Because of which this delay occurred.
