The foundation class for a successful Medicare agent. During this training, you will learn all Medicare options available to your clients as well as various information they should be mindful of. Included in this course are the explanations of the four part of Medicare, an HMO versus a PPO, and why it may be more beneficial for your client to choose another option instead of Original Medicare. These other options consist of Medicare Supplement Plans (Med-Supps), Prescription Drug Plans (PDP’s) and Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPD’s). The Medicare 101 is designed to adequately teach you the nuances of Medicare so that you may provide that knowledge as a consultant for your clients.
