Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that he is considering joining Russia's Victory Day military parade in May 2020. However, he is not sure about joining due to its timing. According to the news agency Xinhua, Trump told the media on Friday, "It is in the middle of our campaign, but I will definitely think about it."
Trump is yet to visit Russia as US President. He praised the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, saying it was 'a great deal celebrating the end of the war'.
He said, 'It is in the middle of the political season, so I will see if I can join it. But I would like to go, if I could.

Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in June that Putin invited Trump to participate in Victory Day events in Moscow.
The 2020 event will mark the 75th anniversary of the Allied victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
