Hospital aims to help with insurance enrollment
DANSVILLE — Are you or your family in need of health insurance? An Insurance Navigator can help!
Funded by the New York State Department of Health, the Insurance Navigator program provides one- on-one assistance with enrolling in health insurance through The New York State of Health – the Official Health Plan Marketplace.
A Navigator is at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville every Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet in person with individuals, families and small businesses to provide education about the different types of health insurance plans offered through the New York State of Health marketplace and to assist with enrollment into public insurance programs and qualified health plans.
Insurance navigators look at the unique circumstances of the patient and enroll them in the best insurance product for their medical and financial circumstances. The navigator is also equipped to help link us with unique financial coverage for services related to the aged, blind or disabled populations.
No appointment is necessary. Simply come to the hospital and stop at the reception desk in the main lobby and you will be directed to the Navigator’s office.
