new Delhi. There have been reactions from around the world on Friday following the killing of Iran's top commander Qasim Sulemani in US air strikes in Iraq and global leaders have appealed for peace. India has also expressed concern over the sudden increased tension in the Middle East. The Foreign Ministry said in its statement that the most important thing is that the situation should not worsen. Peace, stability and security in the region are extremely important for India.

The Foreign Ministry said on Friday, "We have received information that senior leaders of Iran have been killed by the US. Increasing stress is worrisome for the world. Peace and security in the region is extremely important for India. The ministry further said, 'It is important that the situation does not worsen. India advocates for continued moderation and will do so further. Apart from India, Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the recent developments in the Middle East, which threatens peace and stability in the region. Respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity are fundamental principles of the UN Charter that must be followed.
Please tell that Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei has pledged to take revenge on the death of General Qasim Sulemani, the head of the specific Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). After Sulaimani was killed, Western countries believe that this will exacerbate tensions. On the air strike, Russia said that the move by the US would increase tensions in the region.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said the killing of Sulemani is a dangerous move and it will increase tensions in the region. On the other hand, France has also reiterated Russia's statement that after the assassination of Iranian general, the world has become more dangerous. At the same time, China has appealed to both the US and Iran to exercise restraint.
