The Kenyan Premier League Council is opposed to the Government’s Tax Proposal on Sports Gaming and betting companies. The council chairman Ambrose Rachier says the move is likely to affect the sponsorship commitments by these companies, which, he says, have invested in sports in the past three years. Rachier spoke as premier league club Sofapaka unveiled a multi-million shilling sponsorship deal with betting firm Betika ahead of Match Day 3.
