Shamli There was a stir in the Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh when a soldier posted in the police line, Harendra Singh, committed suicide by hanging himself on the gallows. The death of the soldier caused mourning in the police line.
According to the information, Sepoy Harendra Singh son Surendra Singh, resident of Dalhuhera police station Jani district Meerut, was posted in Shamli Reserve Police Line. The policeman's body was found hanging from a nylon rope on a tree late Wednesday night at the Mandi godown near the police line. Police reached the spot on the information of Mandi Chowkidar Rajendra and immediately took him to the CHC, where doctors declared him dead.
On getting the information, at night the soldier's father Surendra Singh, brother Harish reached Shamli along with others. Postmortem of the dead body took place at night. After this, at around five o'clock on Thursday morning, the family took the soldier's body with him. City police station in-charge Subhash Singh Rathore said that information was received from the family members that the soldier had spoken to the family members by phone at around 5.30 pm on Wednesday evening, which he said was no longer tolerable. He is upset with life. Kotwal said that due to hanging in the postmortem report, death due to suffocation has come.
SP Vineet Jaiswal says that due to a dispute in the family by the soldier, suicide has come to the fore. No complaint has been received from the family in the case.
