Is a large part of the earth moving towards sinking in the sea?
This question is arising because according to scientists, the glaciers are melting at a very fast speed. Faster than we are thinking.
Scientists have expressed this apprehension by studying the Thwets Glacier (also known as Doomsday Glacier) of the Antarctic continent.
The Doomsday Glacier is also called the catastrophic glacier because its melting will increase the water level of the Samandar so much that it can lead to destruction.
The BBC team was also with the team of scientists who reached there to investigate it. How big this glacier is, you can guess from the fact that it is equal to Britain in size.
